For over 80 years, A.S. Horner has been one of the Southwest’s leaders in highway and heavy civil construction. Started in Denver, Colorado, in 1927, by Arthur Stewart Horner, the company’s first project was a mechanics garage. Projects quickly progressed to bridges, tunnels, major interstates, viaducts, reservoirs, sewage projects and industrial plants. |

In 1960, work on the 23-mile Roberts Tunnel earned A.S. Horner a reputation for both quality and integrity. That reputation continues today with projects like the Kirtland Air Force Base Design Build and the I-40 Upgrade. We attribute our success to our ability to closely manage our field operations and our "can do" attitude. |
Today, A.S. Horner is headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and employs more than 300 people statewide. Our success has been built by our quality employees and our quality work. Our projects are completed on schedule and on budget. Our construction is recognized for both quality and safety and A.S. Horner has been the recipient of numerous national and state awards. We take great pride in our Experience, Expertise, and Excellence. |
